Tahini Crusted Cauliflower




Cooking is a way to creatively express yourself, the meal you create is your piece of art and the action of cooking is like a meditationšŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Making a nice meal for me is the ultimate expression of my love! šŸ’• And as I had many requests on this day here it is the recipe for my infamous

TAHINI CRUSTED CAULIFLOWER šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³


WHAT YOU NEED


1 whole cauliflower

2tbsp tahini

1 tbsp harissa

3tbsp olive oil

1tsp smoked paprika

1tsp cumin

1tsp garlic powder

1tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ras el hannut (or curry powder optionally)

2tbsp sesame seeds

Salt & pepper to taste


HOW TO šŸ‘‡šŸ¼


In a big pot boil enough water to cover the whole cauliflower. Cook it for about 3-5 min depending on the size, it should be soft but not too soft that it will break in pieces. Don’t forget to salt the water a bit šŸ˜‰

In a bowl mix all the other ingredients, remove cauliflower from the pot and place it on a tray, quarter the cauliflower and brush it with the mixture generously. Bake it at 200 degrees Celsius, for about 20minutes or until the edges are brown and crispy. Serve it with a mint and yogurt dressing for the ultimate mouth watering experience!
