✨ A deeper connection to your body - You catch yourself ignoring the tightness in your shoulders, the heaviness in your chest, the knot in your stomach, or the tension in your jaw because there’s simply no time to pause. Some days you realize you’ve been holding your breath. Other days you notice you can’t feel what you truly need — rest, movement, nourishment, softness — until you’re already overwhelmed. You want to feel at home in your body again… to trust her signals, to move with awareness instead of autopilot, to feel strong and soft, capable and calm. You want a relationship with your body where she’s not an afterthought or something to manage, but a partner you listen to, support, and feel deeply connected with every single day.

This is exactly how I went from a stressed-out mom juggling work, a baby, a relationship, and everyone else’s needs… to feeling strong, centered, and rooted in myself again. I used to move through my days on autopilot — rushing from task to task, ignoring the tension in my body, pushing past my limits because “there was no time” to slow down. I felt disconnected from myself, from my intuition, from the woman I knew I was meant to be.

But when I finally carved out space to breathe and listen — through movement, stillness, and nervous system work — everything shifted. I began to feel my strength again. I learned when my body needed rest and when she wanted to be challenged. I rebuilt trust with myself, set boundaries without guilt, and stopped outsourcing my truth. I became my own guide — my own guru — tuned into my intuition, my cycles, my inner witch.

 

And that’s the transformation I now help other women come home to.

Hello there!

My name is Karol De Souza...

And my journey with movement and mindfulness began when I was 16. Yoga found me in 2004, and from that moment it became a home I would return to again and again. In 2017, I traveled to India to complete my first 200-hour teacher training, and that experience opened the door to a life of teaching around the world. Along the way, I deepened my studies in yoga, breathwork, meditation, neurolinguistic programming, and emotional release—trusting that the more I learned, the more I could serve.

But stepping into my 30s brought unexpected lessons. Yoga alone was no longer enough to support my changing body. I began experiencing joint pain, a loss of muscle mass, and new challenges that grew even stronger after the birth of my son in March 2025. Motherhood reshaped everything: my body, my daily rhythms, my identity. I was navigating healing, rebuilding strength, caring for my core and pelvic floor, running a business, and rediscovering who I was—learning, slowly, to love this new version of myself.

I realized I needed to adapt. So I went back to school to study Pilates and practical nervous-system tools that fit into real life—especially life as a mother. That was the turning point. I began weaving together strength, mobility, and mindful practices to support both physical and mental health in a grounded, sustainable way.

What surprised me most was how many women around me were facing the same transitions—shifts in their bodies, their identities, their energy, their needs. That shared experience became the seed of my method.

Today, I bring all of these elements into my retreats and programs: functional strength, mobility, breath, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and true self-connection. Our retreats and online community are spaces of sisterhood—a place where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive in their 30s and beyond.

My mission is simple: to help women feel strong, balanced, and at home in their bodies during every chapter of life.

Where...

Once upon a time the holiday home of the king of Portugal, Alma do Paço, or the soul of the Palace is now your next holiday destination!

This traditional heritage-style Bed & Breakfast located in the outskirts of this beautiful fisherman village called Ericeira. It is just 35 minutes away from Lisbon airport, and its surrounded by lush green landscapes and the Atlantic Ocean. The property sits on top of the hill a few steps away from one the world most famous beaches, Ribeira D'Ilhas, Europe's first surfing reserve. During the retreat you have full access to the communal areas: 14th century chapel with plenty of rustic charm, honesty bar, the incredibly impressive ruins area, our pristine pool with plenty of hidden corners and sun lounge and of course the firepit for cozy bonfires under the stars.

One room is never like the other, each and everyone of them has its own charm and personality. This place breathes art, creativity, history and style  with contemporary comfort. Staying in Alma do Paço is already an experience on its own!

FAQ (frequently asked questions)...

What's included?

The retreat fee covers 5 nights accommodation all the meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), tea and coffee, all the daily yoga classes, activities and workshops on the schedule above

 

What's not included?

Optional massages, surf lessons and alcoholic drinks, local tourist tax (2€/night) paid to the hotel on check out. Transfer from and to the airport is not included but can be arranged for you when you let us know your flight details. Visa fees and travel insurance is also your responsibility.

 

What's the nearest airport?

Lisbon is the nearest airport. If you wish to stay any extra days before or after the retreat this can be arranged as well.

What's the level of yoga?

This is an open level retreat. This means that we accommodate all levels by offering flows that everyone can follow, with different variations for beginner to intermediate. We expect you to be familiar with basic postures to be able follow the class.

Do I need experience with arts or creativity?

Not at all, the ceramics and painting workshops are suitable for all levels, the main purpose in these workshops is not the art in itself but the emotions and connection the creative process will awaken within yourself.

What's the food like?

The food provided is mostly vegetarian, sometimes with some locally caught seafood or fish. We have two professional chefs looking after our group to deliver high standard delicious meals prepared with love. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions at the time of booking (vegan, gluten free, etc)

How do I confirm my booking?

Your spot will be confirmed upon €550 deposit (click below) and the remaining is to be settled 30 days before arrival.
